Serving Free Healthy Snacks Everyday

As part of our commitment to the Empower Program, we provide two nutritious snacks daily—one in the morning and one in the afternoon—ensuring that all snacks meet established nutritional guidelines. We prioritize incorporating seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables, offering a variety of healthy options for children to enjoy. While parents provide lunch, we supply iron-fortified infant formula to meet the nutritional needs of our youngest learners. In our older classrooms, we extend the learning experience with weekly cooking projects, allowing children to explore food preparation and try new ingredients. Additionally, we maintain a garden where children can participate in growing and tasting a variety of fresh produce, fostering a hands-on connection to healthy eating.

Our approach to snacks goes beyond nutrition. We serve them family-style, with teachers sitting alongside the children, promoting social interaction and conversation.
