Our History

Creative Kids Preschool was started in September, 1998 with just 12 preschoolers.  The founder, Linda Kovacs, worked for Satori, a school for gifted children, for six years.  While working there, Linda went through the N.A.E.Y.C. accreditation process and learned about Gardner’s theory of Multiple Intelligences.   Using some of these same principles, she and her husband, Ron decided to open their own pre-school.  Linda  felt it was important to allow for the celebration and recognition of Christian holidays, and to nurture the “whole child” – academically, socially, emotionally, physically as well as spiritually.  We expanded to include infants in our program in December, 2008. Linda’s wish to support and nurture children in their development as well as her desire to ensure that Creative Kids Preschool is filled with caring, well trained teachers, led her to enroll us as one of the first schools in Tucson in the Quality First Program. We have been actively participating in this program since 2010.

Our Mission

To provide an outstanding, Christian, early childhood program using our multi-experiential curriculum in a safe, clean environment, developing children from 4 weeks to 8 years into their full potential,  while providing friendly customer service to families from Tucson, Oro Valley and Marana.

Our Vision

To continue to provide an outstanding early childhood program for a strong foundation so every child will be successful in kindergarten and beyond.  “Educating tomorrow’s leaders one hug at a time.”
